Have tried several other clock radios that had the ability to play a flash drive but this was the only one that picked up the recording from where it left off. That means don't go back to the beginning and don't start all over again. It was a gift for our three year old granddaughter. I recorded the book and a few other stories for her to listen to before bed. Other radios we tried went back to the beginning of the recording instead of stopping the story and were able to continue. Good size, attractive little radio. We are happy and so is she.
