I bought this CD player for my older toddler who needs easy operation. It was very easy to set up (good simple instructions) and it works very well with decent sound. She likes pink too. It comes with a battery for the remote control and the main unit can be battery or cable powered. I might order another one for my other child soon :)

The first one didn't work in one day. Confirmed they're all down, but still going. Deactivated for one day and reset the time. The alarm clock is still ringing randomly. Outside the return window, so throw it away and know better when next time buyers should beware.

Didn't work right after installation. Turned on and nothing :-( An accident might happen so I would give this item another chance, but the only option was to return it, not exchange it. Have tried several other clock radios that had the ability to play a flash drive but this was the only one that picked up the recording from where it left off. That means don't go back to the beginning and don't start all over again. It was a gift for our three year old granddaughter. I recorded the book and a few other stories for her to listen to before bed. Other radios we tried went back to the beginning of the recording instead of stopping the story and were able to continue. Bought for my daughter. CD is kid friendly; However, the alarm function is ridiculously complicated. Every time we need to set an alarm, I have to watch a YouTube video and repeat it about 5 times before it finally works. It seems like you should be able to use the remote to set it up, but no luck. I like it so far. Kids love to fall asleep with a CD so this is a must have for us. We've tried just about every CD alarm clock out there and they all suck. Either they come with a non-working CD player, or they are full of glitches, they are defective, or the CD player stopped working shortly after receipt.
