Basically you lost it, you're done (period) The 4-way wrench is so important that I highly recommend buying 2-3 of these. And the SHTF guys, yes, buy a 4-way wrench, there's always some water left in the line (unless) someone turns the water off, which actually happens about 1 in 10 times. Most geniuses use needle nose pliers but they don't always work because the sleeve can be very tight which just rounds off the square insert and yes gardeners do this rather than investing in a 4 way wrench which I just can't fit in the head. Buy a four-way key!
