Love the hook part. They are deep enough, the yarn doesn't fall off when pulled, this ease of use speeds up my work. I don't like cable connectors which are used to join two cables to make one longer cable. In my heavy round of 131 stitches, twisting the worsted yarn loosens the connection and it breaks, causing stitches to drop. The good news is that Denise makes longer cords, so I suggest you do this instead of connecting shorter cords. I also noticed that the J hook is slightly thinner than the J hook in the set I'm using. I'm not exactly sure what the right size is, but apparently Denise's hook has come loose a bit. I also compared it to a few regular hooks, all slightly larger than the Denise hook. Since I use a hook that gives me the correct size regardless of the tag, I don't mind. I mentioned this because it might bother some. J is the only one I've used so I can't speak to other hook sizes. The yarn seems to slide over the Denise cords better than the kits I've used, so I spend less time adjusting the loops. on the hook and cord on the wrong side, which speeds up my work. Great hooks for the price.
