I am not at all happy with these brushes. On the plus side, the long handles are really nice and the thicker ones are comfortable to hold. Apart from the bristles, the brushes are well made, the tips are twisted well and have a good grip. But the bristles are not soft at all and feel like straw. I rocked them gently to loosen them up, thinking maybe it was just that they were new. Then, according to the listing, I tried washing them gently in water, which softened them a little, but the bristles got dirtier, with protruding hairs/bristles sticking out of them. Then place them in warm water according to the listing instructions to reshape, but once dry the bristles were still a bit messy as the occasional bristle had to be clipped. I think I'll find a use for them eventually, but not any time soon.
