To be honest I've always used the Piel Frama horizontal leather case with belt clip pocket but I was disappointed with the durability for such an expensive product. With my new iPhone 12 Pro Max, I decided to try something different at this point. I'm glad I did as I found that not only is the quality good (we'll see about durability in the future) but it's also quite roomy. This makes the case larger but less comfortable and makes it easier to remove the phone from the case. But even better, I thought it might be roomy enough to work with a hard iPhone case. I've always wanted to use a hard case because I've had two falls with broken screens, but I've never been able to find a pocket-style horizontal case with a belt clip that's compatible with the hard case. THIS. I have just received the clear Apple Mag Safe phone case and it is very comfortable. AND EVEN BETTER. I use the ProClip line of car mounts for charging and now with the phone in a medium sized case I can get a ProClip phone holder that is adjustable in width so I may not have to shell out hundreds for a new one. Every time I switch to an Apple phone I have a slightly different size.
