These fish are so colorful and lively. Our goldfish love to swim next to you. When it comes to cleaning, I take the bottom off, soak them in warm soapy water and wipe them down with a soft sponge. Any residue or anything on it will be removed immediately. The paint on the plants has not peeled or peeled off. We have had these plants for almost 2 months now and they still look as bright and new as the day we received them. I cleaned them before I put them in the tank.
