Review on ๐Ÿ’ง GM Genuine Parts 15-11105 Engine Coolant Water Outlet: Efficient Cooling Solution by Fred Vazquez

Cheaper than dealer

Just what I needed to fix a coolant leak on my 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ (1.4L Turbo). This is the second one I've installed, the first has done about 40,000 km, this is a common problem (design flaw) with this engine. The dealer wanted $500 to fix it - WOW, $25, some hand tools and about 30 minutes, I replaced it. E10 bolts if using a standard head - be careful. Also the tightening torque should be 8 Nm which is 70 in/lbs (I put a thin coat of silicone grease on the rubber seal to hold it in place). If you see coolant on the driver's side of the engine, that's your problem.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Not sure
