Review on ๐ŸŽธ SALECOM Position Guitar Toggle Switches for Industrial Electrical Applications by Rene Putman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Note which way the switch is pointing.

I needed a mini on/on/on toggle switch to build a guitar. Everyone in the world has a DPDT, 6-pin, 3-position switch. But most of them are on/off/on - be very careful if you want on/on/on because they look exactly like on/off/on. .When you use them, the center pins are your input and output respectively (it doesn't matter which center pin you use for what). You'll see a notch cut into one side of the switch's threaded stem, and I haphazardly thought that would be the "first position". However, when the switch is in "position one" the two contacts on that end of the switch are not activated; it's the two pins on the OTHER end of the switch and vice versa. When the switch is in the "second position" (grip straight up), the two center pins are activated. That little confusion aside, these are great switches - in fact I've just bought more.

Cons
  • Great Price
