Review on G-Technology 2TB G-DRIVE Mobile USB-C (USB 3 by Stephen Chowdary

This hard drive seemed great at first. Good price per GB, USB-C connectivity, short cable and slim design. It would be the perfect drive if it worked properly. After a few months of use, I decided to make it the primary drive for my photos and iTunes libraries on my Mac. But I've found that I can't effectively use Lightroom or other photo editing software with the hard drive. It just doesn't stay installed in the operating system and causes Lightroom to crash unexpectedly. When I transfer my photos from hard drive to Mac HD, I have no problem. Something about this drive is preventing it from staying permanently connected in macOS and I can't fix it. I would NOT recommend this hard drive for important data. It just doesn't seem reliable enough and I wouldn't trust it with data I couldn't lose. If I could return this disc, I would.
