I finally got so frustrated with my old pepper grinder that I replaced it with a "larger capacity". After trying this model and the Unicorn Magnum Plus 9" pepper grinder, we drove it. Although brushed stainless steel is more expensive, it suits our decor better and its aesthetic lends itself to a formal meal. It still offers enough volume though for serious kitchen use. Ironically, for us the deciding factor between the Peugeot and Unicorn models was that the Magnum Plus produced too much pepper per revolution. We were concerned that guests using the Magnum Plus would accidentally pepper their dishes would as the net output of the Magnum Plus was much higher than any other pepper grinder we have ever used. Peugeot on the other hand provided the necessary volume in the kitchen and control at the table. Great pepper grinder for the chef who only wants one.
