Review on πŸ”Œ Optimized Vacuum Storage Bag for YOOPAI Filament by Djuan Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

What a surprise, it works!

I live in the desert and had no idea I needed to protect my 3D filament from moisture until the rainy season. I kept my exposed thread in regular zip ties with a few bags of desiccant thinking that would work. I realized that this wasn't enough when several of my previously successful prints now failed. I bought a dryer and after reviving the thread I realized I had to store it in vacuum bags. I was on the verge of buying a very expensive electric food vacuum sealer but was reluctant to do so for my occasional use. I saw this and thought if it didn't work (and I was skeptical) then I didn't have much money. I was blown away by how simple and easy it is to use. It takes less than a minute to empty the bag as much as you can see in the photo. After a few weeks, the sacks are still completely empty. This was a great addition to my 3D print. If you're having trouble attaching the filament to the baseplate, there are a few things you can do. One of them is to keep the filament completely dry, so I wholeheartedly recommend getting a filament dryer and then immediately storing the spools of filament in vacuum-sealed bags. And I am completely mesmerized by this guide, the Yoopai vacuum filament storage device. That's 100% success.
