Quality headset with good volume and clarity

Well made solid construction should last, unlike some other brand headsets I've had in the past. Sound quality and volume are generally good. I can hear others clearly, others can hear me clearly, and I don't have to speak loudly at all for the microphone to pick up my voice. While volume and audio clarity appear pretty good, the earbud feels a little "pinched" to me, like hearing a voice over an AM radio. if it makes sense It's not quite like the "full spectrum" sound of, say, music headphones. Of course this is a mono headset, not stereo as there is only one speaker so I know that but the tone of the sound through the speaker doesn't seem particularly outstanding to me. This may have been a design decision by the manufacturer to ensure that conversations through the headset could still be heard in a noisy call center. So it may be that they designed the speaker driver to focus on the narrow mid-range frequencies used by the voice, and they reduced low and high frequencies. I use this headset in a quiet office so outside noise is not an issue. I like that I can quickly and easily connect and disconnect my headset to other OvisLink adapters so I can use the same headset with Polycom Soundpoint. A professional desk phone and a standard Android smartphone (requires a special OvisLink adapter to connect to a smartphone). Overall I think this is a quality headset and I expect it to last a long time.
