Meriwool is awesome! Excellent for multi day hiking or camping trips, these are not just long underwear or "long johns". I wear them alone, and sometimes with boxer briefs underneath. I use them for a base layer and wear shorts over them also. They keep you very warm in the cold, and are not that hot to wear when the sun does come out. The first pair I bought I wore for several days unshowered and packed them aside. A few days later, after catching a shower, they still smelled brand new so I put them on again for a few more unshowered days. The Merino Wool does exactly what it's supposed to. I own boxer briefs from this company also.
