Review on πŸ“· Canon EOS M2 Mark II 18.0 Megapixel Digital Camera (Black) - Body Only, International Version (No Warranty) by Darren Anderson

I'm glad I can use my old manual focus lenses with me.

I bought the M2 because I already have the D20 and EF lenses. I knew the first mirrorless camera, the M, had slow focus issues, so I waited and bought the M2. I also bought it for the ability to buy adapters so I can use my Leica and Exakta lenses with the M2. This is not possible with a standard Canon DSLR as the distance between the back of the lens element and the film or sensor mount on DSLRs (like my D20) is too long. I'm happy that I can use my old manual focus lenses with the M2, but I'm not happy with the slow and difficult focusing with my old EF lenses. I used an 80-200 f2.8 L and 28-70 EF lens with a Canon adapter on the M2. Focusing is terrible and louder than my old D20. I almost regret buying a Canon adapter to use my old EF lenses. Maybe it works better with special pancake lenses, but I don't know. Canon shouldn't have sold an adapter to use older EF lenses when it performs so poorly. This is my only complaint. Wait M4.
