This is a great replacement for lost or damaged baby gate bars. The threaded part is the same thickness and slightly longer than the original. The round legs that touch the wall are smaller than the original. However, my original broke because the metal plate underneath was much smaller than the softer plastic disk that surrounds it. This version has an outer disc diameter closer to the underlying metal plate and is made of harder plastic, making it less prone to breakage compared to the original. The adjustable threaded part is thinner than the original but has ribs to make it easier to turn. Overall good parts.
