Needed cheap struts to replace worn struts on 2006 Chevy HHR. Struts had one issue that may make install difficult for some. The issue lies with the lower end of the strut where the two bolts attach to the knuckle. Top bolt goes in fine but bottom bolt will catch with the raised bit of welding that can be seen in pic above if using factory bolts. This will cause it not to be flush. I used a dremel to remove just enough metal on strut to allow bolts to fit flush. It was inconvenient but not a very big deal as I had the tool to make it work. Don't think structural integrity was affected either. I have been driving with them for a couple weeks and ride is as smooth as other quick struts I've used in the past. 3 stars due to having to cut strut to allow bolt to be flush.
