I bought my first of these shirts last September. I use it at least 4 days a week for water aerobics, water pilates or just playing in the pool. I started noticing that I was tanning on my shoulders in March, so I replaced it. I only rinse it out with water. I maybe washed it twice. Always air dry. The new one is a bit smaller and the sleeves are shorter but it will work. The old one probably stretched out a bit. I like it relatively snug so that it doesn't lift up in the pool. I think 6 months of regular use in a chlorinated pool is pretty good.
