We have tested this product on multiple surfaces using directions to dry in a cool, dry place. It is written that it dries quickly and can be applied in several layers with an interval of 15 minutes. We made it with wood, cardboard and a cover (to make our outdoor Halloween decorations even more waterproof). It then says to leave them for 48 hours before putting your "modified" item outside. We did, and both my husband and I tried different items by following the directions (I thought my brain was scattered, maybe I screwed up, so I convinced my husband to try it after my attempt in failed in two different environments). No matter what medium both my husband and I used this product and it came out very sticky. but the surface is still waterproof. So, I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Yes he waterproofed our items but I made a witch hat for my carved pumpkin but when I put it on the pumpkin from the outside it effectively stuck to the pumpkin but then I couldn't let my fingers go of the hat without it damaging the surface of the witch hat. We took it back deep into the basement to dry for 1 week. Our basement has been dry since my husband converted it into his airbrush studio. It stayed the same sticky after 1 week. I was really disappointed!
