I was able to connect it to my PC with no problems and also connect it to power. When connecting peripherals to the ports, everything works as expected. I have no complaints about speed or stability. Plugging your phone into the yellow port will definitely charge it fast. I'm not sure how much power it puts out, but it's at least as good as the 2.1 amp charger I use in the car. ** UPDATE ** Less than a year later. forget about charging any of this. I turn on the tablet and nothing. A week ago I was able to plug it in and use about 4.5 watts of electricity to charge. Not today. No charging at all. When I plug my USB power meter in between, it shows small spikes in power, less than 0.05 watts, for brief bursts at a time, but that's about it. It still seems to work as a hub, but charging no longer works. In the future we will be looking for something more permanent.
