For the price of these shoes and given their reputation I really expected better. After just two workouts doing light cardio on the treadmill, I started experiencing pain in my arches or legs. It was like there was literally no arch support in the shoes. The next workout I went back to my previous running shoes from a different brand and had no pain. On the other hand, I was suspicious of these sneakers from the second I received them. First, they didn't come in the original Brooks shoes packaging, but in a box that said the shoes had been repackaged because the original packaging had been damaged in transit. Second, I noticed that the shoes didn't come with the standard tissue paper that all sneakers are stuffed with, which made me even more suspicious that they were either used and returned or completely fake. The seller of these sneakers was Sneakers N'more so I would not recommend buying from them. I think I'll contact Brooks and see if there's a way to verify if they're real or fake.
