Review on Metra 70-8901 Vehicle Harness for 93-94 Subaru Impreza: A Reliable Wiring Solution by Joe Jordan

So according to Metra this is a must have for any Subaru since 1990 (not just 93-94 Impreza). I installed it on my 2006 Forester (with only one issue NOT related to this wiring harness). So this item worked simply and beautifully and is perfect for installing a Pioneer CD receiver. The hardest part was learning how to disassemble the Subaru dashboard to get out the old radio; I found out how beautiful it is thanks to some YouTube videos (thanks to those who sent them!). The only "trick" I used was to use a plastic knife (from a fast food restaurant) to cut enough "space" between the padded dashboard and the console bezel.
