I was looking for a touchscreen monitor that offered as much space as possible, and for the price, the Planar Helium didn't disappoint. It offers numerous connectivity options with DisplayPort, VGA and HDMI connectors. It also has 2 USB 2.0 ports on the back and 3.5mm audio in/out jacks. It came with a VGA, HDMI, and audio cable, along with a cord and small cell phone stylus (which is appreciated, but not optimal for such a large screen). The built-in speakers are pretty tinny, but I didn't even know it had built-in speakers before I bought it, so it's no disappointment. I was very impressed with the stand that attaches to the back of the monitor. It seems very stable when held upright at an angle of 15 degrees and holds the device anywhere when tilted up to 70 degrees. When it's in the lowest position, the onscreen keyboard is easy to type and takes full advantage of multi-touch capabilities. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. I originally intended to use a screen wall mount, but the stand works so well that I've been using it for the past few months. Now for the bad: It's a HEAVY monitor. It's even a lot heavier than some of its all-in-one counterparts like the Lenovo Horizon (although it's comparable to the A740). There is quite a bit of light in the bottom corners of the screen. It shrinks a bit when the monitor is tilted to its lowest position, so I suspect that could be a sign of its weight pressing down on the display. This is noticeable when viewing darker images and videos. It is sometimes difficult to manage the cables connected to the monitor. I've hooked up all ports except audio in/out, and there's noticeable resistance from the flexing cables when I tilt the screen up and down. Given the movements the screen makes, it seems better to place the ports on one side of the screen. It's a minor flaw, but it becomes a nuisance from time to time. I won't cut this monitor because it's not QHD because it came out, but the picture quality isn't perfect. As I said, it's great for multitasking, but the color and sharpness aren't what I would like for working in Photoshop.
