Review on 🌡️ Optimized Repti Temp Rheostat by Zoo Med by Angelia Marler

I have never bought a rheostat in my life. I bought 2 because I was concerned that if one breaks from the start or something goes wrong I'll have a backup right away. My daughter uses this for her hedgehog enclosure. Before we bought this we used an old oil heater which I think has seen the days of the dinosaurs. We hooked up a radiant heater and then played with the temperature a bit until we got it where it should be. That works great. We didn't have to wiggle the connectors to connect anything. These forks are secure and I don't have to worry about anything falling out. As long as we monitor case temperatures and adjust accordingly, I'd like to say it's doing what it's supposed to do. My only complaint, I said I bought 2 in my order. The second didn't go so well. The screw holding the front panel has snapped off. I really don't think it's a flaw in the product, it's someone tightening the screw and not knowing their own strength.
