I work as a janitor at the local public school, so I use a lot of traditional mops to clean tile floors, rubber floors, laminate stairs, and hardwood floors. But the conventional mop does not clean well. It was originally designed as a spreader, not a cleaning tool. However, microfiber floor mops are designed to clean floors better. It's lighter and more manoeuvrable, so it helps you. This mop is made of durable ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and has a stainless steel handle. I've used this mop to clean tiles in the bathroom and hallways and it's really easy to use and cleans well (definitely better than a traditional mop) and I also appreciate that the handle is long enough (57 inches) so that I can't bend it backwards too much. Also note that it comes with 4 pads (2 x gray wet cleaning pads; 2 x tan dusting pads). Therefore, do not use brown pads for wet cleaning. He won't move well.
