My Frenchie weighs about 25lbs which is a little big for her. The front flap is too loose and cannot be overtightened. So when she swims, she moves sideways and usually doesn't work properly. I want to customize the front somehow. The velcro on the front doesn't hold up well when the vest is wet and the dog is moving. Other than that, it's well done. It's just a front valve that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Since it has been used we will keep it as a backup or use it without a front valve but when there are waves a front valve is really needed.
