I have an 18lb French Bulldog. The life jacket kept her afloat, but the pillow that was meant to rest her head there tends to sink to the side. Otherwise it worked fine.

I got this for my 14 lb chihuahua mix who is missing a front leg who loves to swim but can keep his head above water on his own and is the only life jacket that can do that does so that he can swim alone! (image for cuteness)

My Frenchie looks so cute in this life jacket. We haven't used it in the water yet but I put it on her a few times to get her used to wearing it. I really like the extra collar support to keep her short face out of the water.

Perfect for French Bulldog with a small chin rest. It's a little difficult for one person to put the dog on as the buckles are under the dog. It helps if one person holds the dog upright while another straps him in.

My Frenchie weighs about 25lbs which is a little big for her. The front flap is too loose and cannot be overtightened. So when she swims, she moves sideways and usually doesn't work properly. I want to customize the front somehow. The velcro on the front doesn't hold up well when the vest is wet and the dog is moving. Other than that, it's well done. It's just a front valve that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Since it has been used we will keep it as a backup or use it without a front…
