Review on Chocolate Men's New Balance M1300V1 Walking Shoes - Athletic Footwear by Adam Jauregui
My opinion is not broad
A "wide" fit seems to be all the rage these days (thanks to a Sketchers ad campaign 10 years ago), but most of these shoes aren't very wide. For people with a normal foot width, this has certainly become a more comfortable shoe. But for those of us with really wide feet, this only led to further disappointment, frustration and subsequent comeback. Most of the tested sizing manufacturers were sold (e.g. Crocs and Vasque). I can only assume that among them, New Balance has been one of the best so far. XW/4E? - not nearly.
Pros
- The lightweight construction of the shoe reduces stress on the feet, allowing you to walk comfortably for long periods of time.
Cons
- Shoes can be difficult to put on and take off
