We needed this safety element. Other jobs I've worked at have always had a mirror to look in. You must look backwards for safety reasons. It's easy to drill 2 holes in the cage frame and attach the mounting bracket. The screws are self-tapping, but I overtightened and snapped off the head. Replaced the screw and everything works
