Great collar but be warned not to use it when your pet is unsupervised.

This collar is designed for use when walking and training dogs. It should not be used as a permanent collar. Leaving it on your dog unattended risks strangulation if the "loop" gets caught on anything. I would like this fact to be stated on all collars of this type. I take it off my dog when we come back from a walk. In fact, I leave him tethered to his leash, so he's always tethered. The collar keeps my dog from pulling the leash that hard or chasing a rabbit or bird. He's a hunting dog so it's important that I can control him when we're not hunting in the wild, when we're in town or on busy roads.
