This product accomplishes the very difficult task of fitting a Samsung monitor without a VESA mount, but only partially corrects Samaung's oversight. It installs but does nothing to adjust the center of gravity, as even the best stands don't allow for easy tilt adjustment (ironically, the only adjustment possible with the stand that comes with Samsung). Pros: - makes a good monitor without a vesa mount to mount on a vesa - reasonable price - strong - not afraid of bending Cons: - doesn't adjust the center of gravity of the monitor. If the tilt angle is not set to 100%, the monitor tilts forward. You could have adjusted the mounting point to be closer to the monitor and higher (although that would have required a larger piece of metal) to attach this. Admittedly, Samsung's poor design put them in a difficult position, but this company did the bare minimum very well, not the best it could have done, which could have been a tad better. Final Conclusion I'm happy with my purchase, but you should be aware that while you can use any Vesa mount, you must use a fixed tilt setting. I use mine on a convertible standing desk so I wish it could tip over easily, but it offers enough improved flexibility to justify the price despite the downsides.
