Aurifil yarn is a high quality cotton yarn. I have a pretty temperamental sewing machine that doesn't work well with some threads. Aurifil always works. Also, Aurifil yarns leave less lint and fluff behind than many other brands of yarn, so I don't have to clean the spool area as often. I'm definitely a fan.
