I've used and loved Flavacol popcorn salt for years but eventually ran out and found my local grocery stores only have one brand of popcorn salt that is complete crap. I was going to re-order Flavacol but found that the original version has artificial coloring. I've become more aware of this in recent years and try to avoid it if possible. At first I thought Premier Flavacol was just another retro packaging design and almost missed it, then I read the description and realized it didn't contain any artificial colors! They should really emphasize that in the product name. Anyway, I was worried that the taste would be different than the original, but I didn't notice any difference. Anyone who complains that this salt is too salty (?) should know that it has a very fine texture. It's that nice texture that helps it stick to the popcorn much better than regular salt and even better than the nasty popcorn salt I bought at the grocery store. You will probably add too much salt if you try to use this in a regular salt shaker. Luckily I still have a very old popcorn salt bottle with very small holes. I cook oil-free popcorn in the microwave, apply a little nonstick spray (I can't imagine salt sticking to dried popcorn), then shake it with some flavacol. I am addicted. I wish Flavacol had come up with a cool flip top shaker for their salt. I really want them to send me one to test and review. :)
