Review on Profile Designs Threadless Converter 8 Inch by John Patel

I bought the wrong size. This bottom diameter is 25.4 mm. I was very confused by this size. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't get to use it; I ordered the Origin 8 for a few bucks more and it's lighter and way better (and prettier). The difference in weight may be due to the size. This profile design (PD) is made in China while Origin 8 is made in Taiwan. The underside of the PD has a smooth finish, unlike the Ori8 and my old Nitto Technomic which had strips cut out. I'd say it probably works too, but I'm happy with the Origin 8. Just a few dollars more, why not?
