I took a chance buying this side table as it was new and had no reviews. It took several weeks to get here and when it finally did the box was torn open - one corner was completely gone! Luckily the foam was enough to protect the contents. I assembled the table and pulled out all the details. Most of them are actually metal but the top is chipboard/MDF. This is where I got scared: the underside of the MDF tabletop was covered in what appeared to be fiberglass...LOOSE fiberglass. It was on me, on my clothes, and most likely on the carpet. Immediately picked up and thrown away. I personally will not deal with crumbling fiberglass. If you maybe have a workshop/garage for assembly and know how to clean and treat this stuff then it won't be scary.
