Review on Motorcycle Windshield Deflectors Hypermotard Transparent by James Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

UPDATED REVIEW - Controls

Not the best craftsmanship I've seen. Delivery without instructions. I had to contact the company to find out where they are installed on my bike. Holes are not bolt restraints. These are extra holes for placement. I ended up attaching it to a stud that holds my mirror. Definitely underdeveloped in this area. I used to leave a one star review just because I didn't have a guide with this one. Since they replied I'm increasing the rating to 3 stars but I'd be impressed if they left it. I received a notification that the review will not be published because I did not follow the rules. After reviewing the recommendations, I see no problem with my first review. I think since this is the only review they have they will not accept a bad review. The real test will be when I take it to the street. I'm concerned about the covers that are only held in place by the mirror screw. I will keep you updated if you leave my review. otherwise I'll write another one or mail it back and send my complaints directly to Revain. **UPDATED** I'm moving this from 3 stars to 4 stars. Now that the weather is good I mounted the handguard and tried it out. I was impressed that they held out. I hit 110mph and they stayed in place with no issues. The only thing to note is that there is a small footprint between the windshield and the guard that makes the bike vibrate a bit at speeds over 80km/h, but there's no reason to remove it. I would have given 5 stars but again there were no instructions and I had to contact the company to get them. For the money they are perfect and fit most large bikes.

Pros
  • The improved shape has been proven to be much better at blocking cold winds and any road debris, eliminating the problem of wind blowing up your sleeves.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
