I'll start with the positive. The wires are long enough to hang a cable on each side of the bed of a long bed truck and have a switch. Two switches were included. And while people have complained about the lack of instructions, if you have a general knowledge of how the wiring is labeled you shouldn't have any trouble hooking it up. I've also seen people asking how to wire switches. I can't speak for them, but mine came with a layered pattern. Now minuses. I'm not sure if I have a bad set or if people just behave well. But these things have terrible light output. I'm glad I tested them before each installation. With all six light modules together, it barely illuminated a quarter of the loading area. And by "illuminated" I mean it was just a glow. The light would definitely not be enough to find anything in the dark. I will come back and look for another brand.
