I don't usually wear hats when I'm exercising or running because I think you get warm much faster. Recently I decided to try again. I bought the Outdoor Research cap because I liked the clean look and ventilation the entire cap offered. I took it for a long time and was surprised by its performance. The hat is lightweight and the solid part of the fabric in the center of the hat provides adequate protection from the sun. The back strap is easily adjustable and tucks neatly into a hidden slit for a neat, form-fitting look. Good product. I might buy other colors for this model.
