This hat is fun! It's pretty cheaply made, but I wasn't expecting too much from the new dog hat. It fits perfectly on the big hard flat head of my 15lb spitz/spaniel and also has "ear straps" for extra security. His ears aren't erect or pendulous - they sit between them like a leprechaun until he gets wet lol! So the hats hit/missed him. He's a paraplegic but still walks with a decent clip and the hat can move out of the way but stays surprisingly well. Just don't accidentally sit on it, it won't bounce back :/ But it will do its job. to dress up Bud in an Indiana Jones costume for special occasions/hospice visits :) It is highly adjustable and will likely fit both small and large dogs but may look a little silly on larger dogs. I wish they offered 2 sizes - small and large. I would buy it back if I ever lost it - always get compliments and smiles from seniors and kids which is priceless :)
