Review on 🔌 HiLetgo Digital Multimeter AC 80-260V 100A PZEM-061 LCD Display Energy Power Meter with CT by Bob Roberts

Item arrived quickly and well packaged and was larger than I thought it would be (which is a good thing as it is primarily a display). The input and output are clearly marked on the back of the device and in the instructions. There's a single button that toggles the backlight on and off (it's blue, by the way) and resets the device (because it keeps the energy meter even when it's off). I tested with voltages from 5 to 20V and currents from 0 to about 2A. Both the voltmeter and ammeter are fairly accurate compared to other meters I have and trust: voltage is within 0.05V and current is within 0.001A from what I can see. The readings change about every second, which is rarer than the average multimeter. The screen is legible on the left, right and bottom, but worse on the top, which is usually the case with LCDs, so take that into account when assembling. One more note, the description says the lowest voltage is 6.5V, which is correct, except the backlight only comes from about 7V, so I'd say if you need a backlight, think the lowest voltage . Let's say 7.5V to be on the safe side. Now the upper limits according to the description and documentation are 100V and 20A, unfortunately I don't have the equipment to push the device to the limit. Finally, I tested the alarm function and it works perfectly. You can set two voltage thresholds (high and low), and if the voltage is not within the specified range, the display and backlight will flash quickly. This can come in handy when you need to prevent a lithium battery from over-discharging (i.e. under-voltage) for example. Overall I give it five stars, but mostly for its accuracy.
