I'm giving this 4 stars because I'm not entirely sure if the modules are to blame, it could be an incompatibility or different hardware in my setup. They seem to be working after several transplants, I may have done something to get them working but I'm not sure what it was at the moment. I use the same module on both ends. 1 on my Mikrotik CRS317 and 1 on my Mellanox ConnectX-3 (Dell OEM if that matters) connected with a 75ft Cat7 cable. I've given up trying to figure out what the problem was. There is, and I hope it will work until I can isolate another solution. I guess I'll keep them, just frustrated because they work fine, until I remove and put them back. Will update my review if there are further developments. I would recommend using fiber optic or DAC cables instead unless copper is required in your situation (in my case it is).
