I love Texas but the weather isn't good for the puppies' coats and they have a lot of them. I've tried 8 different brands, several different shampoo and conditioner combos and this is the only one that adds some shine and tangle control. Be sure to follow directions when mixing as you don't want to get greasy if there is too much product or get frustrated if the product to water ratio isn't enough. Biewer Terriers have long hair like Yorkshire Terriers, but it's drier and not as silky, so I use a bath towel after drying. If you have multiple carpets, spray directly onto the carpet. I let them dry naturally, they love to snuggle up by the fireplace and when they're dry I spray them again, let them dry and then brush them. Works great and allows you to brush your teeth 3-4 times a week. Before each brush I spray and when it dries I comb it. Does not blow dry, controls tangles and adds shine. The best part is that I don't have to spend hours brushing as it makes her hair less messy.
