🐴✨ Laser Sheen Horse Shampoo & Detangler by Farnam for Brilliant Shine Review

I have been grooming dogs for 30 years and have always loved Shoushin. Well I have to say it's much better. I use half as much and it does twice as much work. This allows me to remove the mat and undercoat much easier than the shine. Don't get me wrong Shoushin is good but this is better and you can make 1 gallon for the price of a bottle of Shoushin.

I prefer Laser Sheen to other popular detangling (SS) sprays because of the scent. Laser Sheen smells really nice and works well to detangle my Paso Finos long manes and tails. You MUST follow the concentrate mixing instructions correctly to achieve the desired results. Otherwise, just buy a pre-mixed product!

My pup (Maltip) loves this scent - he didn't mind the scent either. Easy to spray, leaves a lasting shine and helps leave hair clean and tangle-free. What I really got is that I need to spray it on at least twice a week and it really takes a good 10-15 minute brushing session at least twice a day. It's a great way to bond and now we're both enjoying the experience :)

This rating is for little girls hair, long straight and very light colored hair, easily tangled. They detangle well but require significantly more work/effort overall than the 8oz eZall Shine and Detangler. For example, you need to dilute it and spray it, not just rub it in your hand and apply it. It made her hair a little heavy/greasy and didn't last as long to prevent tangling.

I used this on my St. Bernard Newfoundland. He swims in our pond and streams several times a day and his fur gets clogged with tangles and mud. While this product didn't help with tangles, it did keep his coat clean and shiny after shampooing and spraying his coat. I like it! This will greatly reduce the formation of new tangles and I plan on using it on a weekly basis. Instead of bathing my dog every day, I can now do it once a week.
