Review on BOSCH RA1177AT Three-Piece Dust Extraction Hood Kit for Mr23-Series: Efficient Dust Control Solutions for Ultimate Precision by Roger Diaz

Unless I have overlooked something, the picture and description do not show the complete set. They are actually three different dust removers in one package. One for the plunge floor, one for the fixed floor and one for edging, which is installed under the fixed floor milling machine when edging. Also included is an adapter to connect the suction tube to a 1 1/4 and 1/1/2 inch hose. I needed a plunge base router and the cap fits perfectly. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the draw opening doesn't seem large enough to handle any kind of abuse. You definitely don't want to hang a large vacuum hose on the connector. Another feature to note is that the bit hole on the dive extractor is small. I'm lucky that what I'm going to do is Amana #45526. which goes through the hole (when dipping) with a margin of only a millimeter or two. I haven't used it yet, so I can't comment on the dust removal capabilities. Maybe more on that later!
