Review on PureSec Replacement Diverter Kitchen Countertop by Mark Howard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The valve switch must be on the side; not opposite hose connector

I was impressed with the quality of this diverter valve although I won't test it long enough to test over time. However, when designing, they overlooked a huge and important detail. The valve switch must be on the side so the tubing connects to and runs from the back of the unit. Otherwise, you'll either have to settle for the awkward and awkward position of the switch on the front, or have the hose run through the side, making it stick out and look ugly and likely snagging every time you reach for the sink. I'm right handed and used to having my old switch on the right side.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
