Review on 🔒 Safe-T-Alert by MTI Industries 35 Series Dual LP/CO Alarm - 12V, Flush Mount, White, 6-3/8" Width x 2-7/8" Height x 1" Depth by Bishop Roshad

The device (MTI 35-742 Safe T Alert) is good when it works, but over its lifetime it can be quite expensive to replace every 6 months or so. (Before reading further check out others who have had similar issues with this model) Purchased from Revain on 10th September 2018, installed 5th November 2018 as the trailer was in storage and not used during those months. Easy exchange of 2 screws and 2 wires white and black. On February 2, 2019, when the trailer was pulled out for the third time, the device started flashing red and green, which means END OF SERVICE, please replace the device. As others have written in their reviews, I also bought this detector to replace my old unit that was starting to fail (same model) and was working at night. Now, less than 5 months after purchase and installation, this new unit is beeping and flashing red and green - a malfunction according to the description. It is necessary to turn off the block so that we can sleep and finish our journey. Now I'm having trouble contacting MTI Industries. I used 'Contact Us' on their website, I emailed and called customer service 3 times during business hours as did others. But got no reply and left a message. I have received absolutely no response from MTI Industries. Will update when this is fixed. Note. The manufacturing date they use for the 12 month warranty is 07th June 2018. This is not a seller issue, MTI is the manufacturer of the device. Update: 02/16/2019 Seller contacted, device warranty is one year. Providing a receipt from Revain showing the unit is only 5 months old. The seller asked me to get an RMA number and send the device back at my expense for the return shipping. Received a 100% brand new device within 6 days. Satisfied with the seller and the device.
