Excellent replacement for the coolant drain plug
My 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ with a 4.7L V8 engine has an ugly 3/8 NPT plug next to the upper radiator hose which helps to bleed air from the radiator. System. It screws in perfectly and has since (for almost two years) withstood the temperature and pressure of the cooling system without any problems. Now I can just burp it with a twist of a lever instead of hoping the connector's hex doesn't come loose, and I can close it without trying to insert the connector, bypassing the leaking coolant.
