First off, let me say that I'm a working professional chef. I've been looking for a new knife for the kitchen for a long time and decided to give it a try. I am far from disappointed! I love this blade. He's got great feel and balance, not to mention he can go insane. Yes, the knife is very sharp, but after putting rocks on it, it's sharper than I can imagine. Very high quality steel. Cutting and slicing is effortless and I don't get tired after a full day. Good weight, like a German knife with the sharpness and dexterity of a Japanese. I highly recommend this blade. I'll get another one as a backup.
