First, let me say that I've always been very happy with Oxo - it's my choice, given the choice. I loved it when I first got it - in fact I bought two at a time three years ago, one for each bathroom. It was smooth thanks to the stainless steel and the hidden brush. I loved that I could lift the handle and the top would open and stay open until I got the brush back - without touching it! Worked great with cleaning. Fast forward and a little rust showed up on the handle and then some on the canister = this even happened in the second tub which isn't wet as we don't shower there. It kept rusting and I vowed to find something else. Then the hood wouldn't stay open to replace the brush, so you have to keep the wings of the hood open - phew! I am currently looking for a clean install and have emailed Oxo in the meantime. It took them a while to get back to me but they said I could send a photo and get a replacement or if I had a receipt I could get a refund. So thank them for their customer service, but this is where I buy the most everyday things again.
