On a rainy December I leaked through the large front seam of my Class C RV roof. Searching for RV repair supplies on Revain led me to Eternabond tape and positive feedback from many customers. I especially appreciated the prospect of not having to remove all that old caulk from that 8 foot joint and getting the job done before the next rain. I found this product easy to work with. It was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit when I applied the tape - it wasn't particularly sticky at that temperature. First I cleaned the area thoroughly with soap and water, then with nail polish thinner. After I cut the desired length of tape, I folded the tape the opposite way, inside (removable silicone film backing) out, which made it easier for me to remove the backing one 6-inch section at a time, pressing down on it. down, roll out another section, etc. I used a carpet roller as well as my hand to apply pressure, rubbing vigorously, starting in the center and working outwards over all parts of the uneven surface, smoothing out any bubbles and paying special attention to myself the edges focused . .So far, so good. If the weather stays this way I will be ordering some more Eternabonds for ALL the seams on my RV.
